Prolight + Sound is always an exciting and diverse trade fair. But 2020 will also be a special event: the Global Entertainment Technology Show will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Some exhibitors have already witnessed the beginnings of the fair, which began as a special show, and have remained loyal to it ever since – such as Steinigke Showtechnic GmbH, a manufacturer of event technology. The Bavarian family-owned company is one of the exhibitors who have been accompanying the trade fair for a quarter of a century. Together with the trade fair, the manufacturer and wholesaler of light, sound and decoration products have survived through ups and downs.
Steinigke Showtechnic is one of the regular exhibitors at Prolight + Sound who have been there since 1995.
1 How long have you been an exhibitor at Prolight + Sound?
We were present at Prolight + Sound right from the start and haven’t missed a single trade fair since. Even before Prolight was decoupled from Musikmesse, we exhibited in Frankfurt.
2 What significance does Prolight + Sound have to your company?
Prolight + Sound is still our most important trade fair of the year and at the same time our home game. Although we are now represented at a wide variety of international trade fairs, Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt is the highlight of our trade fair year. We meet our long-standing customers and partners there, make and maintain contacts.
3 What are the advantages of exhibiting at Prolight + Sound?
As a trade fair in the heart of Europe, Prolight + Sound attracts industry experts from a wide variety of countries and offers the opportunity for professional exchange. The fair is also a place where new trends are discovered and created.
4 Will you be celebrating its 25th anniversary with the fair?
In the 25th year, we will also be taking part in Prolight + Sound and toasting a quarter of a century of shared history!
5 What do you wish for Prolight + Sound on the occasion of its anniversary?
We wish Prolight + Sound the necessary foresight and flexibility for the coming years to keep up with the times and not lose touch with the industry. True to the motto “Nothing is more constant than change” – for the next 25 years!
