New developments for a new Prolight year: exhibitors are now searchable online. Trade and other interested visitors can now get an overview of who will be taking part in Frankfurt’s biggest light, sound and events trade fair. The big innovation for 2015: for the first time, there is going to be a new special interest category, Stagery. For Stagery, even more exhibitors than in previous years will be representing stage design and equipment, as well as film production. The first big-name exhibitors have already put their names down.

Salzbrenner Anniversary – Highlights continue in 2014

20th anniversary2013 was a triple good year for the Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup. At the beginning of July, the Stagetec Developement Association for Professional Audio Technology celebrated its twentieth anniversary. In September it was Salzbrenner's fiftieth anniversary of the businessman Friedrich Salzbrenner laying the foundation stone for the media group. Just a few days ago, the third member of the media group celebrated a birthday. The Delec Audio and Video Technology GmbH turned 25. There's no shortage of highlights in 2013 for the consortium, and in 2014 there are more exciting projects.

New sport experience with RiCam

RiCamThis week hundreds of thousands of spectators are champing at the bit in front of their TVs and on site, as professional winter sport athletes from all over the world swoosh down the snow covered slopes at the alpine skiing world championships. While some ski fans in the Austrian city of Schladming get to see the slope aces live, most of the rest of the winter sports fans can only watch the moving image on the TV. These images just might surprise you this year. For the first time, live camera feeds are being shown from the skier’s perspective.
In the development of a camera which can withstand the ski slopes, the video, audio and communications experts at Riedel Communications had their fingers in the pie. The camera which just came on the market this month, the RiCam,  is put onto the ski goggles and sends extraordinary pictures from the athlete’s perspective. The broadcaster ORF is giving you the chance to marvel at these amazing scenes.
