An acoustic guitar, a loop pedal, and the unique voice of British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran – that’s everything you need to draw in the crowds. Or rather: almost everything. An audience of more than 10,000 fans is dying to hear every note, even if they aren’t in the front row, and the linear sound reinforcement systems LEO and LYON from Meyer Sound make it possible. They are accompanying Ed on his live concert tour – from Manchester to Paris, Berlin to Prague, and Sydney to Auckland.
Meyer Sound brings its young lions to the PLS
At Prolight + Sound Trade Fair in Frankfurt this year, there will be many interesting new products at Meyer Sound's stand. The public address system specialist will present its newest linear Loudspeaker System LYON. The self-powered sound system is the newest member of the LEO family. It is has an extremely light and compact case and is therefore very versatile.
“With the LEO system we can show that a system can stay linear on all frequencies and with very high levels. That offers a whole new listening experience for everything from the New York Philharmonic to Bassnectar,” says John Meyer, CEO and co-founder of Meyer Sound.
