The Opus – Deutscher Bühnenpreis celebrates 25 years together with Prolight + Sound 2020. Innovative projects can be submitted to the jury until 25 November.

An award for special arts

Every year the Opus Award is given to artists who are particularly creative and innovative in their use of event technology for theatre and musical productions, concerts and tours as well as corporate events. Opus awards changing categories such as lighting design, stage and scenery design and technical realisation.

Award ceremony with a long tradition

The Opus has been an integral part of Prolight + Sound since 1995. The initiators of the prize are VPLT (Verband der Medien- und Veranstaltungstechnik e. V.), EVVC (Europäischer Verband der Veranstaltungs-Centren e.V.) and Messe Frankfurt.
