Lightshows have become an integral part of live concerts and other major events such as sports shows or television recordings. The aim here is to get the audience into the right mood visually and to set special accents. As a partner in the field of lighting effects, the Dutch company CrowdLED has further developed its LED wristbands as an interactive part of every show. Remote controlled and customizable, the audience becomes a part of the lighting effects.
Remote-controlled LED wristbands for a 360° experience
The implementation is simple: At the entrance, the bracelets are handed out to the audience in order to wear the small LED accessories visibly. Synchronous to the stage show, the bracelets begin to glow in the desired colours and rhythm and immerse the entire location in a special sea of lights. The audience becomes part of the show instead of just watching. With a battery life of up to 7 days, they are also perfect for use at festivals. Event organisers can choose from 16 million colour variants, making an individual colour scheme easy to implement. The LED wristbands are 100 percent reusable – after use, they are simply collected again and can be adapted for other events.
How does the wristband control work?
Each individual LED wristband from CrowdLED can be individually programmed. When using the small accessories, customers can choose between two control options:
DMX
The LED wristbands can be connected directly to the lighting console using a DMX controller. This coupling makes it possible to control the lights individually. In addition, viewers can be divided into groups to immerse the surroundings in colour accents.
Sounds
CrowdLED has developed its sound bracelets as a simple and effective solution. The wristbands react to sounds and glow brighter according to the speed of the music. This makes them an inexpensive alternative to DMX-controlled wristbands.
