20 years of Prolight + Sound – and it’s showing no signs of slowing down! On the contrary: 2015 saw the leading trade fair for the lighting, sound and events industries book another healthy increase in visitor and exhibitor numbers. From 15-18 April 2015, visitors to the Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre were able to connect with 928 businesses from 41 countries. In total, 43,054 dealers, distributors, and end users from 133 countries came to catch up with the latest developments in the industry – an increase of around 2%.
PLS: The Heart of the Industry
“From our perspective, this has been further confirmation that Prolight + Sound is at the heart of the industry. Fantastic numbers of products and services have brought the individual media, theatre, exhibitions and events branches even closer together – presented as a unified offering, in one location, for four days. At the same time, it demonstrates just how international our industry is,” said Helge Leinemann of the VPLT (Professional Lighting & Sound Association of Germany).
