In this context, we are delighted to be able to offer Green Guided Tours at Prolight + Sound again this year. These unique sustainability-themed tours are a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested to learn about the latest green developments in the industry. Each of the approximately one-hour tours is free of charge for trade fair visitors and offers you a compact < a href="https://prolight-sound-blog.com/find-contacts-using-our-exhibitor-search/"> overview of all exhibiting companies that stand out due to particularly sustainable product innovations under expert moderation.
Insights into sustainable industry innovations with expert moderation
The tours are organized in cooperation with our partners EVVC (European Association of Event Centers e.V.) and the Association for Media and Event Technology (VPLT). This year’s dates:
- Tuesday, 19.03.24, at 14:00 and 16:00
- Wednesday, 20.03.24, at 11:00 and 14:00
- Thursday, 21.03.24, at 11:00 a.m.
Under the expert guidance of Falco Zanini, an industry veteran with in-depth knowledge of organization, coordination and sustainability, you will be guided to exhibitors who would like to exclusively present their efforts in the area of sustainability. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of sustainability, he has been working in the event industry since 1980 and has also completed further training as a business economist, master craftsman for event technology and occupational safety specialist.
Real sustainability heroes are sometimes unimposing
In a world where flashy labels and often questionable claims can be misleading about sustainability efforts, these tours offer an opportunity to recognize true innovation and efforts that go beyond the obvious. Falco Zanini’s many years of experience have shown that truly effective sustainability efforts often appear less spectacular at first glance. His personal highlight to date, for example, was an exhibitor who developed stage top machinery and presented a system that stores and uses the energy from up and down movements.
