With EON618S, the EON600 loudspeaker series from JBL now also has a deep bass supplement. This new bass is an active 18” subwoofer with a digital output stage and a digital signal processor (DSP). This means combinations with every typical PA loudspeaker shouldn’t be a problem.
Bass with impressive sound
With the JBL EON618S, a ‘class D’ amplifier features 1,000W (peak) or 500W (continuous) output for a decent deep bass – frequency range from 31 to 150 Hz (-10 dB). In addition, the bass has a maximum SPL output of 134 dB. The DSP also offers phase reversal, tone control, delay, and various crossover frequencies (60, 80, 120 Hz). This way, everyone can create their own individual sound, in accordance with taste and application.
With the flexible signal management, featuring two inputs and outputs, stereo as well as mono-sub applications can be used. The free EON Connect app (iOS and Android) also facilitates control of volume and sound directly via Bluetooth.
The JBL EON618S aims to be a good supplement to live events, concerts or DJ work because, according to manufacturer claims, it can be widely used, is simple to operate and is dependable. The compact size as well as the weight of 35.5 kg also makes transport as well as set up and disassembly easy. The finish on the robust casing is an additional advantage, standing out with its resistance to scratching and dents. The bass also features a M20 thread pole cup for satellite systems and is currently available for €999.
