When the doors of the Prolight + Sound Guangzhou open, a very special dynamic is created in the lighting sector. Here, light is not just a means to an end, but part of complex productions ranging from small club set-ups to large-scale show productions. Between compact LED solutions, powerful moving heads and specialized effect devices, you can see how versatile modern lighting technology has become. The trade fair brings together precisely this diversity and makes it clear how closely technical development and creative application are now linked.
The structure of the lighting area
The Professional Lighting area will be spread across several halls in 2026, making it one of the central focal points of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou. This includes Halls 9.1, 9.2, 10.1, 10.2, 11.1 and 11.2, which together form a continuous theme world for stage, event and architectural lighting.
This division provides clear orientation without restricting the variety of content. Within just a few steps, different approaches can be compared, from classic spotlights to complex effect solutions. At the same time, it shows that lighting is not thought of in isolation. Interfaces to visual technologies, control systems and permanently installed lighting solutions characterize the trade fair image just as much as classic stage applications.
Where performance, effects and brand profile meet
A broad spectrum of applications and manufacturer profiles are concentrated in Hall 9.2. Charming will be presenting LED-based systems for stage and events at stand 9.2 D02. The focus is on flexible solutions that can be used in different production environments. Such systems play a key role in areas where quick adjustment and efficient light output are required.
Also in this hall, at stands 9.2D52 and 9.2F36, Showven will be demonstrating the extent to which light and effects now complement each other. Spark, flame or CO₂ effects add additional visual levels to classic lighting and are now an integral part of many show formats. The presence of such providers makes it clear that modern lighting concepts are often thought of as part of a larger staging system.
The combination of Ayrton and Goldensea or Haoyang Electronic in Hall 9.2 at Stand 9.2D01 makes for a particularly interesting stand. This is where internationally positioned lighting technology and local manufacturing expertise come together. This combination is exemplary of a development that can be observed throughout the trade fair: Brand profile and production strength are increasingly growing together.
Broad portfolio for stage, event and installation

In Hall 10.2, the focus will be on manufacturers that cover a particularly wide range of applications. Polar Lights will be showcasing solutions ranging from classic PAR spotlights to dynamic effect lights at stand 10.2D08. The strength lies in the combination of functional diversity and practical usability, making the products suitable for a wide variety of event formats.
Right next to it, Fine Art is positioned at stand 10.2D02 with a portfolio that combines several technologies. Moving heads, lasers and control solutions interlock here and show how individual components can be developed into integrated systems. This combination is becoming increasingly important for many applications, as light is no longer used in isolation but is part of complex setups.
Dynamic show solutions and economically strong providers
At stand 11.2D02 in hall 11.2, Big Dipper will be focusing on dynamic lighting solutions. Beam effects, laser applications and moving light concepts play a central role here. Such products are particularly in demand in the entertainment and club sector, but are also increasingly finding their way into larger event productions.
Hall 9.1 completes the picture with manufacturers who are more focused on economical and widely applicable solutions. Dage is represented here at stand 9.1B02 and stands for robust systems that are used in many standard applications. At the same time, AML Lighting at stand 9.1A56 will be showing how new brands are increasingly positioning themselves internationally and expanding their portfolio in a targeted manner.
It is precisely this mixture of specialized and broad-based manufacturers that gives the trade fair its character. In addition to technological highlights, solutions that play a major role in everyday practice are also on display.
Additional brand impulses from the Pro Lighting Halls
With Vorlane, another manufacturer is expanding the range of Pro Lighting Halls. In Hall 11.2 at Stand 11.2B02, the company will be presenting the latest developments in the field of professional lighting, thus complementing the range of stage, event and show lighting solutions within the lighting segment.
The presence of such additional brands underlines the growing diversity of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou. In addition to established industry giants, the trade fair also offers space for companies that contribute to the dynamics of the global lighting market with new technologies, expanded portfolios and internationally oriented lighting solutions.
A complete picture of the lighting market only emerges when adjacent areas are also included. ColorLight is represented in Hall 13.2 at Stand 13.2C52 and is an example of companies that focus on control and signal processing. Without such systems, many modern lighting installations would not be feasible in this form.
ACME in hall 12.2 at stand 12.2C10, Nightsun at stand 12.2D10 and Mooncell in hall 13.2 at stand 13.2F16 will also be demonstrating the extent to which the boundaries between lighting, visual and control are shifting. Especially in larger projects, these areas intertwine and together form the basis for complex productions.

The line-up of lighting exhibitors in Guangzhou illustrates how the market is evolving. On the one hand, the number of specialized products is growing, while on the other, the importance of integrated solutions is increasing. Light is increasingly understood as part of an overall system in which effects, control and visual elements interact.
