During its 25 years in business, HB-Laser has established itself as the go-to place for laser shows, multimedia- and video mapping projects. The company has simultaneously placed an emphasis on high quality and creative ideas. In the run-up to Prolight und Sound 2017 we spoke to Marius Leverenz, Key Account Manager at HB-Laser.
1. You’ve brought along the 3D-HydroMatrix as a highlight for Prolight + Sound 2017. What makes this product so special?
The 3D HydroMatrix HD is distinguished by its extremely small space between individual fountains: just 50 mm. Furthermore, the surface of the matrix is scalable due to the modular system set-up. Our products know no limits when it comes to size. Individual modules can either be formed as surfaces, rows, or star patterns. Even the 3D HydroMatrix doesn’t need a huge water supply for the classic fountain. Through the innovative design, a 10-cm depth is sufficient for operation. This opens up new areas for use, most notably inside shopping malls and hotel lobbies.
2. When realizing multimedia projects you rely simultaneously on innovations consistent quality. What else to do your clients value about your HB lasers?
Our clients value our honesty, flexibility and our service. Based on our structure, we can adapt to changes or demands at any time. Our all-encompassing service – from project design to realization and maintenance – is one of the points that distinguishes us from the competition.

3. How many times have you been an exhibitor at Prolight + Sound?
We have had a stand at Prolight + Sound since 1998. We’re interested in the especially diverse audience. Of course Prolight + Sound has become a kind of ‘class reunion’ for us, where we come to make connections and build upon partnerships!
Looking forward to Prolight + Sound 2017: can you give the visitors a small hint of what they can expect?
I don’t want to give away too much here and now, but that would definitely be the two LightCube models and a steering solution based on Pangolin FB-4! You can find everything else between the 4th and 7th of April at Prolight + Sound 2017 in Hall 5 Stand D15.
