In cooperation with Prolight + Sound, the Association for Media and Event Technology launched the “VPLT JOBmarket” a year ago. Since then, employers and specialists from the media and event industry have been brought together here. One of the platform’s big advantages is that it not only offers vacancies on the German job market, it also lists markets beyond these borders. This way the platform makes a valuable contribution to finding the right employer or employee in a young and dynamic industry.
More than 300 employers and 12,500 jobs
The job exchange now includes more than 300 employers and 12,500 job offers. Industry leaders such as PRG or Amptown System Company GmbH already use the platform to find specialists.
The platform offers numerous advantages for employers. Employers can create their own profiles to present themselves and their offers. This helps potential employees get a solid and quick overview of the company behind a job offer. In addition, employers can access applicant profiles and establish direct contact with suitable candidates.
Everything at a glance
With the help of a transparent search function, job seekers can enter their personal preferences for location, occupational group, and position. Then it is possible to find the appropriate job offers with a click. A map on the start page of the job platform also helps candidates find the job openings in the desired region quickly. Furthermore, registered applicants can create their own profile, listing their skills and wishes. This makes it easier for potential employers to find them.
The VPLT and Prolight + Sound have been successfully working together for years in a variety of areas – not just with the job exchange. Above all, the association supports the trade fair in the conception and implementation of the extensive conference and lecture program and, for example, provides interesting conference threads. Managing Director Linda Residovic recently revealed in an interview why the trade fair is so important for the VPLT and what visitors can look forward to in 2019.
