An industry is only as strong as its young talent. Because Prolight + Sound attaches great importance to promoting young talent in the event industry, the third Future Talents Day will be held this year as part of the trade fair. In our diverse program, the professionals of tomorrow can discover the diversity of the event world, get in touch with experts and even get hands-on in various areas of event technology.
On March 22, 2024, the third Future Talents Day will take place at Prolight + Sound in cooperation with the VPLT (Association for Media and Event Technology), EVVC (European Association of Event Centers) and BDKV (Federal Association of the Concert and Event Industry). The program in Hall 11 is aimed at trainees, students and interns from the event industry as well as interested school pupils.
Exclusive Industry Insights in Future Talk
After the welcome at 10:30 a.m., the actual program begins at 11:00 a.m. with the Future Talk. This offer is primarily aimed at trainees, students and interns, who can enter into an exchange with professionals from the fields of technology, organization, culture and congress. Listeners can find out more about how insiders view the industry and their work. The ideas and expectations regarding the professional reality in the event industry will be discussed.
First Hands-on Experience in Event Technology
From 12:00 until the end of the Future Talents program at 16:00, students in particular can get their money’s worth at “Hands-on event technology”. Here, those interested will have the opportunity to gain their first practical experience in small groups of six people in short thirty-minute workshops on the topics of lighting, sound, video and rigging.
