Prolight + Sound 2025 once again provided a stage for innovative technology solutions in the event industry. Right in the centre of the action: Faraone, the Italian specialist for access technology. The company presented a selection of its Elevah lifts at its stand – including the compact and versatile Elevah 80 Move Move model. The trade fair appearance met with keen interest from trade visitors from the event technology, trade fair construction, facility management and stage construction sectors.

Particular attention was paid to the Elevah 80 Move model, which was demonstrated live at the trade fair. The self-propelled lifting platform is designed for maintenance work and order picking at heights of up to 7.75 metres. Visitors were able to see the compact design, precise driving behaviour and high level of safety of the device for themselves.
The Elevah 80 Move is a true all-rounder in the field of height access technology. With a load capacity of up to 200 kg and a turning circle of zero, the device scores particularly well where compact dimensions and precise manoeuvrability are required – for example when setting up lighting and sound installations in exhibition halls, studios or theatres. Operation via joystick is intuitive, and the vehicle remains self-propelled up to its maximum height, which makes frequent changes of position much easier.
The stage can be set up in just a few seconds and is immediately ready for use. Thanks to its comparatively low tare weight of around 750 kg, it is also suitable for more sensitive floor coverings. An automatic braking function, integrated safety railings as well as emergency stop switches and control indicators ensure safe operation – even under time pressure.
Why the Elevah 80 Move is relevant for the event industry
Event technicians are often faced with the challenge of carrying out set-up, conversion and maintenance work in difficult environments within a limited time frame. This is where the Elevah 80 Move offers a real alternative to conventional access equipment or large work platforms:

Elevah 70: The manually movable passenger lift with electric height adjustment
In addition to the self-propelled work platforms, Faraone also presented the Elevah 70 at Prolight + Sound – a particularly compact and flexible passenger lift for indoor use. Made entirely from aluminium, the platform reaches a maximum working height of 7.25 metres (with stabilisers extended) and can be moved quickly to different locations thanks to manual movement.
The platform is raised electrically, while the position is adjusted manually. The working height that can be reached varies depending on the position of the workman basket and the use of the stabilisers. This means that even hard-to-reach areas can be reached efficiently and safely – ideal for maintenance and repair work on machines, in production halls or for installation work in trade fair construction.
Despite its compact basic dimensions of 132 x 78 cm, the Elevah 70 offers plenty of space and flexibility with a large work basket and a load capacity of up to 200 kg. The low tare weight of just 398 kg and the well thought-out design make the device easy to handle. A practical storage tray for tools (load capacity up to 20 kg) also makes working at height easier.
As with all Elevah models, the Elevah 70 can be customised with numerous accessories and optional safety functions – be it special paint finishes, additional lighting or integrated safety systems.
