At Prolight + Sound Trade Fair in Frankfurt this year, there will be many interesting new products at Meyer Sound’s stand. The public address system specialist will present its newest linear Loudspeaker System LYON. The self-powered sound system is the newest member of the LEO family. It is has an extremely light and compact case and is therefore very versatile.
“With the LEO system we can show that a system can stay linear on all frequencies and with very high levels. That offers a whole new listening experience for everything from the New York Philharmonic to Bassnectar,” says John Meyer, CEO and co-founder of Meyer Sound.
Sound system in two variations
The sound system comes in two variations with which LEO systems can be expanded. The LYON-M main loudspeaker can be added to the 1100-LFC Low Frequency Control Element and the Galileo Callisto Loudspeaker Management System. Now you have a powerful sound system for large stadiums, tours or festivals. The LYON-W, on the other hand, is a down-fill in order to expand a LYON based system.
The recently announced Galileo Callisto 616 AES Primary Array Processor will be presented at the trade fair by Meyer Sound. This is a new and more powerful hardware and software solution to control a loud speaker system.
For the past 35 years Meyer Sound has been producing many different kinds of high quality public address systems. The company founded in, and still located in, Berkeley is known in the industry for its innovative and reliable products. The visitors at Prolight + Sound in March of this year can once again see that for themselves. Meyer Sound is located in Hall 8.0 stand F70.
