Prolight + Sound: Young Talent Meeting & Awards

Something new: starting right now, those planning to attend Prolight + Sound 2016 can use their projects to take part in the ‘Opus’ and ‘Sinus’ Awards. In addition, future events professionals shouldn’t miss out on the Young Talent Day on Tuesday (5 April 2016).

New: Active Application for Awards

The Opus German stage prize and the Sinus systems integration award are among the most preeminent distinctions in the field of event technology systems integration. Applications can be submitted to the jury till the deadline on 20 November 2015. The Opus is given to people who have staged innovative and successful productions in the field of theatre and stage productions, live events, and open air activities. The Sinus is given for projects that have distinguished themselves through innovative and trailblazing use of media technology and systems integration. The winning projects will be selected by a jury of experts and awarded during a celebratory evening event at Prolight + Sound on 7 April 2016 at 7pm (Messe Frankfurt, Hall 4.0 in the Europa room).

The Young Talent Day: Information and Matchmaking

Students and trainees can receive personalised insights into their future fields at the new ‘Trade Fair Tuesday’ at Prolight + Sound. From 10am to 7pm on 5 April 2016, the programme offers exciting talks and guided tours, as well as further events. Companies and educational institutions can get to know potential and interested applicants at the matchmaking events offered. In addition, a CPD programme will be offered at Prolight + Sound Conference and the Eventplaza Conference. Those who wish to find out more specific information can access all information about technical universities and other institutions of higher education at the central information point for the field of education and associations.
