SEEBURG is expanding its portfolio with two new line arrays, expanding the current Galeo and Galeo XT systems. New on the market are the Galeo S and its big brother the Galeo T.
New products from SEEBURG
Galeo S
The Galeo S (2×6.5”/1.4”) was developed for small to medium-sized events and is easily transportable, measuring in at 19x45x38.5cm at a weight of 13.5kg. It’s available with a beam angle of either 70 or 100 degrees, with a vertical of up to 16 degrees. The line array system is complemented by a flying bass, the Galeo S Sub also from SEEBURG, which can be deployed either vertically or horizontally.
Galeo T
In contrast, the big brother Galeo T has been designed for large-scale sound applications, equipped with 2×12” woofers, 4×6.5” drivers, and 2×1.4” tweeters yet weighing in at only 49kg and measuring a mere 38x76x52cm. Like the Galeo S, the larger T series has its own bass extension, the 21” Galeo T sub.
Both line array systems are being brought to market with a brand new rigging system, allowing them to be locked into a pre-selected splay angle. This new function allows the system to be quickly set up and dismantled whether it is deployed as a stack or rigged. SEEBURG recently took the new Galeos on a roadshow where the new systems could be both tested and listened to.
