For the exhibition teams of international manufacturers of event technology, the beginning of each new year means one trip after another. In spring there is not only Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt but also China and Russia lure exhibitors to their country. Then you suddenly hear, “Ni-hao!” and „привет!“ instead of a simple „Hallo“!
Since the beginning of March, many manufacturers have packed their bags and travelled to Guangzhou. The Trade Show Frankfurt has expanded its Prolight + Sound concept this year there; in turn exhibitors and visitors are celebrating the premiere in south China. After that warm up, there was the German International Fair of Technologies and Services for Events, Installation and Production.
Surely you will remember that the motto for Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt is “after the exhibition is before the exhibition”. Then in May, Russia invites everyone, for the second time, to Prolight + Sound NAMM in Moscow. Even though 2012 was the first time the event was in the largest country in the world, many thousands of visitors were drawn there to discover and be inspired by the newest trends in the industry.
However, both trade shows will not be able reach, in the near future, the attendance level of 40,000 guests which the Frankfurt show draws J Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt remains, for many international manufacturers, the biggest industry show.
