The application period has started! From now on, companies and professionals from the event industry can apply for the “Sinus – Systems Integration Award 2022” as well as for the “Opus – German Stage Award 2022”. The awards are traditionally presented at Prolight + Sound.
Apply for the Sinus Award
For more than a decade, the “Sinus – Systems Integration Award” has been an important marker to honor the pioneering use of AV media technology and systems integration solutions. In doing so, it is awarded in rotating categories. This year, the award honors outstanding creative and artistic achievements and solutions in the use of technology in audiovisual installations. The non-endowed honorary prize is presented annually at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt am Main.
The jury and board of trustees of the award are made up of members of the Association for Media and Event Technology e.V. (VPLT), the European Association of Event Centers e. V. (EVVC), industry experts, media representatives and Messe Frankfurt staff; they select the most impressive projects from all the entries.
Personalities and companies in the industry can submit their projects to the Sinus expert jury and apply for the established award.

Application for the “Opus – German Stage Award”
In addition to the Sinus, the “Opus – German Stage Prize” will also be awarded again in 2022. Also and especially against the background of the special challenges in the past months, the Opus awards the creative and innovative use in theatre, stage and open-air productions. Thus, the award, which has been presented annually at Prolight + Sound since 2002, is considered one of the most important awards in the industry. Original projects, productions and creative minds in the field of stage design can apply now.
A jury of industry experts from business, associations, trade publications and representatives of Messe Frankfurt will honor new, outstanding approaches to the creative use of technology. The sponsors of the non-endowed honorary award are the Association for Media and Event Technology (VPLT), the European Association of Event Centers (EVVC) and Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
The Opus honors the creative and innovative use of event technology in projects such as:
