Just in time for Prolight + Sound, Cameo Light, product brand of Adam Hall, presents its ninth beam spot wash hybrid moving head, the OTOS H5. The IP65 luminaire developed in Germany impresses with its multifunctional application options and is at home in the professional segment as an outdoor-capable hybrid moving head.
Small, lightweight outdoor professional
Thanks to its IP65 certification, the OTOS H5 Beam-Spot-Wash Hybrid Moving Head is primarily intended for outdoor applications, for example open-air concerts or festivals. However, the spotlight is just as suitable for use in clubs or locations with a large capacity. The multi-talent convinces with a high light output and combines powerful light. And effect output with its low dead weight of only 33 kg. This makes the OTOS H5 one of the lightest in its performance class.
High output and brilliant colour rendition
Lighting designers and operators will be able to create light shows for indoor as well as outdoor events with the 3-in-1 moving head and give free rein to their creativity. With the high-end spotlight, lighting professionals have an all-in-one device at their side to achieve an effective and multi-faceted light output.
The uniform brightness distribution is optimised by the integrated flat field filter, while the 480 W discharge lamp ensures a rich output of 19,000 lm. At the same time, high-quality optics and the motorised zoom allow a beam angle of 2° to 42°. This means that everything is possible from narrow focus to wide-area distribution. Thanks to 16-bit resolution and four selectable curves, the dimming behaviour is also homogeneous and uniform.
The CMY colour mixing and the additional colour wheel with 15 dichroic filters provided a wide colour spectrum. In addition to stage and venue lighting, the brilliant colour rendering with a high CRI filter (>80) makes the OTOS H5 ideal for use in TV and film shoots.
Variable effect variety and user-friendly controls
The prisms on two prism levels, the animation wheel and the variable frost filter for washlight applications allow for a variable effect variety, which, among other things, allows for the estructuring of mid-air effects. The multifaceted presentation is enhanced by the two gobo wheels with a total of 27 gobos, eight of which are exchangeable and rotatable glass gobos. The remaining 19 gobos are static.
The battery-operated OLED display with four control buttons allows lighting technicians to perform the mains-independent setup quickly and easily. In addition, the control options of the OTOS H5 can be integrated and controlled with full flexibility via integrated W-DMX™ transceiver, DMX or RDM.
Interested trade fair visitors to Prolight + Sound can take a closer look at the new OTOS H5 from 26 to 29 April 2022 at the Cameo trade fair stand (Hall 12.1, Stand B24). The Cameo team is looking forward to meeting all interested parties.
