Visitors to the Lightpower Village at this year’s Prolight + Sound had a fantastic opportunity to experience 1,200m2 worth of innovative products from Lightpower GmbH and its partners. The Paderborn-based exhibitor counted itself more than happy with the Messe Frankfurt experience.
Whether MA Lighting, Clay Paky or Robert Juliat – the stands in the Lightpower Village were packed from day one. Visitors were particularly drawn to the innovative product solutions (and PLS exclusive introductions) for concert tours and live events, as well the theatre, film and TV sector. “Wherever you looked, there was clearly massive interest in our partners’ products,” said Herbert Marx, Lightpower marketing manager.
dot2 Range Reels In Visitors
This year’s highlight, in the company’s estimation, was the dot2 Range from MA Lighting. The newly introduced series of compact lighting consoles was specially developed for small to medium-sized events. In MA Lighting’s words, they offer “advanced functionality with outstanding ease-of-use.”
Further attractions at PLS 2015’s Lightpower Village included multiple offerings on the Robert Juliat stand, including the DALIS, Roxie, ZEP 360 LED, and Merlin systems. The VL4000 BeamWash by Philips Vari*Light also proved a big draw. Marx summed it up: “In a nutshell, in terms of visitor profile and numbers, we have grounds for celebration again this year.”
