In just over a month from now, the doors to Prolight & Sound 2015 at Messe Frankfurt will open, giving visitors the chance to see the latest trends in lighting, sound, events, and stage and theatre technology at first hand. Alongside the exhibitor stands in the halls of the trade fair grounds, there will once again be a comprehensive programme of exciting presentations with industry names tackling the key topics of the moment.
VDT Academy
The VDT Academy runs from 11am to 3.30 pm on April 17th. Topics include audio design for businesses, recording technology, and modern score production.
Media Systems Congress
At the Media Systems Congress from 15-17 April topics such as 3D sound design, new lighting methods in the entertainment branch, and trends in digital media networking will be discussed.
Theatre and Film Colloquium
The newly-created ‘Stagery’ field, dealing with the latest trends in theatre, film and stage technology, is receiving intensified focus at PLS 2015. Presentations concerning all aspects of the topic will be delivered at the Theatre and Film Colloquium on 16-17 April, including an investigation into the magic of costumes, and how to get the best acoustics in events rooms.

On 16-17 April, discussions at Eventplaza will include the seven commandments of staging events, the impact of music, the true possibilities of events (and why they aren’t always realised), as well as interactive creativity techniques.
Prolight + Sound Forum
