Lighting concepts in churches a popular means of emphasizing the dignity and special qualities of the building. In keeping with this ideal, the Messe- und Veranstaltungsgesellschaft Magdeburg GmbH (MVGM) was commissioned with the development of a new concept for the St Johannis Church in Magdeburg. The focus aims to achieve a modern and yet future-oriented solution. For the realisation, the MVGM decided to use ROBE Robin ParFect 100 – a choice that has already paid off.
ROBE Robin ParFect 100 – effective and reliable
The organisors have not regretted the decision for ROBE Robin ParFect 100: thanks to the tight beams and the strong LED performance with a high-scale RGBW colour combination, the devices were easily able to replace the old spotlights. Overall 21 devices were installed in the sacred building in Magdeburg, now staged with dignity. They can be proud of the results and is not least of all thanks to the ROBE Robin ParFect 100.
Our goal was completely achieved with these devices. They are used to illuminate the sacred space of the church and replace the NV spotlights previously installed there. With the high-performance LEDs and the tight beams, they produce a much nicer image. The 21 meter heights are handled without problems and the light beams stay tight, all the way to the top.
Matthias Ahrens – Head of Event Techology at MVGM
The technical director is particularly enthused by the diverse possibilities in the area of visuals, but also with the simple handling of the product. This means the church profits particularly from the individually regulated colour adjustment, which always make the space appear different.
