The German manufacturer of LED video wall products presented the LED-rXone series for the first time after 3 years of development and exclusively at Prolight + Sound 2019. Accordingly, the audience at the trade fair was curious to learn more about this new product.
Special encapsulated LED module
The special feature of the rXone series is its “Ultra Rigid Technology” (URT), which was developed to offer a high level of protection against scratches, mechanical damage, liquids as well as the influences of heat and cold. The patented surface refinement provides smooth and homogeneous surfaces without mirror effect. Even with larger image areas, the likewise patented edge processing enables a homogeneous image representation. In addition, the cabinets have a wipeable surface to wipe away “everyday life.”
Technical data promise good image quality
The rXone series does not have to be ashamed its technical features. For example, anti-reflective Black Face SMD provide a light output of up to 1,000 cd/m². At the same time, the screens are equipped with HDR with up to 18Bit per color channel. Last but not least, the high vertical and horizontal viewing angles ensure reliable image transmission. All LED modules have front and rear service. At the trade fair, visitors were able to see the product up close and personal – a 7.5 m x 3 m wall was installed, which presented the 4K content in correspondingly high image quality. The modules are particularly suitable for a wide range of applications and can be set up easily without the use of tools. Thanks to the quick-release lever, the installation is unproblematic. Available in various versions (500 mm x 500 mm, 250 mm x 250 mm or as a corner module), the cabinets can be used for a wide variety of applications – thus, organizers benefit from the high flexibility.
