Speaker systems for live events, professional audio components, signal processors and reliable connections: professional audio is one of the key product areas at the first Prolight + Sound Bangkok. From 30 September to 2 October 2026, international manufacturers will come together with companies from Thailand and other parts of South-East Asia at BITEC Bangkok
The trade fair classifies the professional audio sector as including, amongst other things, amplifiers, loudspeakers, mixing desks, microphones, PA systems, DJ equipment, effects, as well as cables and accessories.
The exhibitors confirmed so far include both manufacturers of complete sound reinforcement systems and specialists in individual components of the signal chain. We present some of the companies that visitors will be able to meet in Bangkok.
HK Audio: Sound reinforcement systems from Germany
HK Audio an internationally established pro audio brand from Germany, will be represented at the premiere in Bangkok. The company has been developing and manufacturing sound reinforcement systems for more than 35 years, and its product range covers a variety of applications, from portable sound and professional live sound reinforcement to concert sound and permanent installations.
The current portfolio includes, for example, the scalable LINEAR 9 systems, the COSMO line array, the CONTOUR X series, and more compact solutions such as POLAR and LUNAR. As recently as 2026, HK Audio unveiled two new product families – LUNAR and PORTABLE SUB – as well as another compact column system, the POLAR 8 MK2.
For HK Audio, taking part in Bangkok is not just about showcasing its products. Christian Jordan, the company’s Chief Sales Officer, describes HK Audio as one of the “founding exhibitors” of the first Prolight + Sound Bangkok. Given the growth of professional audio, live events and entertainment technology in South-East Asia, the company sees the trade fair as a strategic platform for further expanding its presence in the region.
Visitors will find HK Audio at stand B12.
ICE Prosound: Live demonstrations on all three days of the trade fair
ICE Prosound offers particularly straightforward access to professional sound reinforcement. The Thai company develops professional sound systems and also provides services relating to installation, control and sound design for concerts, events, conferences and exhibitions. Its own loudspeaker systems are manufactured in Thailand and incorporate, amongst other things, drivers from the Italian manufacturer FaitalPRO.
ICE Prosound will be exhibiting at stand B24 at Prolight + Sound Bangkok. In addition to the exhibition, an ICE Prosound Audio Showcase is scheduled to take place in Room SILK 1 on the second floor of BITEC on all three days of the event. Visitors will be able to experience professional audio systems in live demonstrations there.
Such an event offers significant added value, particularly when it comes to loudspeaker systems. Technical specifications alone provide only a limited insight into coverage, dispersion characteristics and sound quality. Live demonstrations give trade visitors the opportunity to experience the systems under more realistic conditions and to speak directly with the manufacturers’ technical experts.
FaitalPRO: What’s inside the loudspeaker

Not every pro audio exhibitor supplies a complete loudspeaker system. FaitalPRO is also represented at the show; this manufacturer’s components are frequently found inside professional loudspeakers.
The Italian company develops loudspeaker drivers for professional applications. Its product range extends from low-frequency loudspeakers and subwoofer drivers, through high-frequency drivers, to coaxial loudspeakers and horns.
The range extends from compact components to 21-inch drivers for high-performance bass solutions. The range also includes coaxial loudspeakers, in which the tweeter and woofer are arranged on a single axis. This design is used, for example, in professional loudspeakers where a compact build and the most uniform possible sound dispersion are required.
The fact that FaitalPRO is represented in Bangkok broadens the scope of the exhibition: visitors will not only meet suppliers of ready-made PA systems, but will also be able to explore the components on which their acoustic performance is based. FaitalPRO is one of the exhibitors confirmed by the organisers for the inaugural event.
MARANI: Signal processing between the source and the loudspeaker
MARANI Pro Audio brings another crucial component of modern audio systems into focus: digital signal processing.
MARANI develops professional DSP solutions for the processing and control of audio signals. The company’s roots date back to 1996, when SEED was founded in Tuscany and specialised in digital signal processing applications. Today, its product range includes, amongst other things, professional audio processors, equaliser, compressor and effects technologies.
One example of current developments is the MIR-F/I series. The MIR480I combines, amongst other things, FIR filters, Dynamic EQ, Auto EQ and extensive routing and processing options. It also features Dante connectivity for networked audio systems.
Such processors perform key functions in professional sound reinforcement systems. For example, they can distribute frequency ranges across speaker channels, correct time delays, equalise systems or protect speakers. Particularly in larger live and fixed installation systems, it is therefore not only the performance of individual speakers that is important, but also how the entire system is tuned and controlled.
MARANI is one of the exhibitors confirmed for Bangkok.
Reyn Audio: from line arrays to stage monitors
Another confirmed manufacturer is Reyn Audio. The company’s product range covers various areas of professional sound reinforcement.
The range includes, amongst other things, line arrays, point-source loudspeakers, subwoofers, column loudspeakers, stage monitors and digital amplifiers. With its RL series, for example, Reyn Audio offers various line array systems, whilst the RX and RA series are designed for point-source applications.
The range is therefore suitable for a variety of applications – from mobile live productions and stage applications to larger sound reinforcement systems.
Reyn Audio is also listed as a participant in the inaugural edition in the latest exhibitor information for Prolight + Sound Bangkok.
VL Audio: Pro audio equipment from Thailand
Alongside international manufacturers, companies from the host country also play an important role at Prolight + Sound Bangkok. One example of this is VL Audio / VL Sound & Light.
According to the company itself, the Thai firm has more than 30 years’ experience in the professional audio sector. Under the VL Audio brand, the company manufactures, amongst other things, loudspeakers, power amplifiers, audio cables and DI boxes in Thailand.
Alongside this, VL Sound & Light operates as a technical service provider and has already been involved in major concerts and events in Thailand. The combination of in-house product development and practical event experience makes the company particularly attractive to the regional market.
The participation of such manufacturers also highlights an important aspect of the new trade fair: Bangkok is not only intended to bring international brands to South-East Asia, but also to offer Thai companies a platform for engaging with trade visitors and business partners from other countries.
VL Audio is one of the officially announced exhibitors at Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026.
Neutrik: You can’t have a professional audio system without reliable connections
Signals and data must be transmitted reliably between the mixing desk, signal processor, amplifier and loudspeakers. Neutrik a manufacturer whose products are used precisely at these interfaces, is also represented in Bangkok.
The portfolio includes, amongst other things, XLR and jack connectors, speakON, powerCON, etherCON and opticalCON, as well as solutions for data, fibre-optic and digital audio systems.
Reliable connections are particularly important for professional live applications. Cables and connectors are frequently connected, disconnected, transported and reinstalled during touring productions. At the same time, network and fibre-optic connections are becoming increasingly important as audio, control and other data are transmitted digitally in larger systems.
With Neutrik on board, the list of exhibitors makes it clear that ‘Professional Audio’ at the trade fair encompasses the entire signal chain – not just the components that actually produce sound at the end.
Neutrik is also among the confirmed exhibitors at the premiere.
Visitors to the trade fair will also be able to experience professional audio first-hand
Prolight + Sound Bangkok does not limit its focus on professional audio to the exhibition stands. In addition to the ICE Prosound Audio Showcase, live line-array demonstrations have been announced as part of the exhibition programme.
In addition, there is a three-day intensive programme run by the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI). The Professional Audio Masterclass is set to cover sound engineering, acoustic design and live production.
The trade fair thus combines product exhibitions with professional development. It offers sound engineers, system designers, hire companies and integrators the opportunity to discover new products whilst discussing topics that are crucial to the design and operation of professional audio systems.
From individual components to complete sound reinforcement systems
HK Audio, ICE Prosound, FaitalPRO, MARANI, Reyn Audio, VL Audio and Neutrik already demonstrate just how varied the topics within professional audio can be.
Whilst manufacturers such as HK Audio, ICE Prosound and Reyn Audio offer complete loudspeaker systems, FaitalPRO focuses on the individual loudspeaker components. MARANI specialises in digital signal processing and control, whilst Neutrik provides the necessary connections between the individual system components. VL Audio is also represented, a manufacturer from the Thai market.
And that is not the end of the list. The line-up of exhibitors announced so far includes further companies whose products and services are wholly or partly in the fields of audio, AV and entertainment technology. The official list of exhibitors will continue to be updated in the run-up to the trade fair.
It is precisely this mix that could be one of the key attractions of the premiere: international manufacturers will be meeting regional producers, distributors, system integrators, hire companies and end-users from South-East Asia.
Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026 will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2026 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). More than 150 international exhibitors and brands, as well as over 5,000 trade visitors, are expected to attend.
