Prolight + Sound will not be held in 2020. In view of the measures taken in the fight against the corona virus, Messe Frankfurt has also cancelled the catch-up event planned for May. However, many trade visitors have already bought their tickets for the trade fair in advance – these can now be returned
Tickets are not valid for Prolight + Sound 2021
Most importantly for visitors: the ticket purchased for Prolight + Sound 2020 is no longer valid in 2021. The same applies to ticket codes that have not yet been redeemed. These too can no longer be used for Prolight + Sound 2021.
Messe Frankfurt has therefore arranged for the refund of tickets already purchased. Visitors do not have to do anything for this at first. The purchase price of the ticket will be automatically refunded in the same form in which payment was made.
Written cancellation is not necessary
Reimbursement of the costs of ticket orders placed via the Online Ticket Shop will also be handled by Messe Frankfurt. Visitors do not have to take any action on their own for this.
Furthermore, care is taken not to open a Paypal conflict or to file complaints. These processes slow down any refund. Furthermore, it is not necessary to send a written cancellation. The processing of refunds will also take some time.

Cancellation of Prolight + Sound 2020 due to the Corona crisis
On 12th March the Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration issued general decrees banning major events that are expected to attract more than 1,000 visitors in view of the increased spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections. At the present time, it cannot be assumed that the situation will change at the catch-up date planned in the near future. Messe Frankfurt has therefore announced the cancellation of Prolight + Sound. Prolight + Sound 2021 will take place from 13 to 16 April.
