2013 was a triple good year for the Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup. At the beginning of July, the Stagetec Developement Association for Professional Audio Technology celebrated its twentieth anniversary. In September it was Salzbrenner’s fiftieth anniversary of the businessman Friedrich Salzbrenner laying the foundation stone for the media group. Just a few days ago, the third member of the media group celebrated a birthday. The Delec Audio and Video Technology GmbH turned 25. There’s no shortage of highlights in 2013 for the consortium, and in 2014 there are more exciting projects.
Highlights from the Salzbrenner Strategic Mediagroup
“The Prolight & Sound is one of the main trade fairs for us and our customers,” says Stephan Salzbrenner, chief executive of Salzbrenner Strategic Distribution.
That’s why the media group brought three new developments to the PLS 2013. Strategic presented a new control interface for its digital workstation Pyramix, its AURUS mixer, which allows both systems to work together closely. The audio router NEXUS was revised to use the simple network management protocol SNMP to help monitor the system. Now it uses the standard which is often used in large companies with extensive IT systems. AURUS as well as NEXUS are both utilized in the successful Hamburg musical “Rocky”.
The completely new network amplifier module NAM was presented at the Prolight. The compact Dante™-Decoder with integrated power amplifiers makes it possible to distribute broadcasts throughout the house.
In September another innovation was shown. Delec presented the new oratis compact intercom, which in addition to its small scale installations in television is also an asset in the theater.
“You can expect to see the additional outcomes of our work in our 2013 anniversary year at the Prolight & Sound 2014.” Stephan Salzbrenner told us. The specialist for intercom and commentating systems will definitely be the at the trade fair in Frankfurt in the coming year.
