Steinigke Showtechnic is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of event technology in Europe. The company is based in Waldbüttelbrunn and offers a wide range of lighting, sound and decoration products that are used on stages, in clubs and theaters worldwide.
The range includes static spotlights, moving heads, effect lighting, microphones, headphones, loudspeakers and much more. As a full-range supplier, Steinigke also offers everything needed on stage or in the studio. In addition to its own brands OMNITRONIC, EUROLITE, FUTURELIGHT, ALUTRUSS, EUROPALMS, PSSO, OMNILUX, ROADINGER and DIMAVERY, the company also carries products from other well-known manufacturers.

1. This year, after a forced break of two years, there have been more events again. How has your company perceived the past few months?
Overall, we perceived the past year as quite positive: After the forced break caused by the pandemic, the industry breathed a collective sigh of relief, festivals were able to take place again – but at the same time we also notice that the club culture has changed. This area of tension is also apparent among our customers and partners. Nonetheless, 2022 was a very successful year for us overall.
2. What are your expectations for the industry in the coming years?
On the one hand, we are observing a continuing upswing and a catch-up effect in the industry, which will in all likelihood continue for some time. On the other hand, we expect the aspect of sustainability to play an increasingly important role thematically in the coming years.
3. What is the significance of Prolight + Sound as a trade fair for event technology for you?
Prolight+Sound is still an important date in the calendar for us. In Frankfurt, we meet both our long-standing customers and partners as well as newcomers in the industry. For us, Prolight+Sound is both a class reunion and a home game: We look forward to many interesting conversations and exchanges with visitors and colleagues.
4. With a view to Prolight + Sound 2023: Can you give visitors a little foretaste of what they can expect?
As usual, we will try to give the visitors at our booths an insight into the novelties across our very wide range of products. Among them are in the lighting hall new, professional stage lights, strobes and moving heads, but also surprising, new lighting effects for smaller stages and event locations. Among the audio innovations, we have both installation goods and mobile speakers – it’s all in the mix! In addition to our own booths, we are pleased to be able to provide an outdoor demonstration of CELTO’s high-quality line array in cooperation with our colleagues from CELTO Acoustique.
