But before we move on to the anniversary edition of Prolight + Sound, we present some of the product highlights that Steinigke showcased at this year’s trade fair.
Eurolite LED TMH Bar S120 Moving-Head Spots
A special highlight of this year’s presentation was the Eurolite LED TMH Bar S120, with four individually controllable moving heads. This was developed primarily for mobile DJs. The TMH Bar S120 is characterised by its simple controllability, which also works well with simpler consoles and lighting control apps. This makes it particularly attractive for beginners and DJs who can’t concentrate on complex lighting control during a gig.
The colour palette is particularly extensive, which is achieved through the use of 4 individually controllable 30 W LEDs that enable a wide range of colour mixes and effects. Features include static gobos (7 gobos and open shake effect), strobe effect and beam effect. The combination of these features makes the TMH Bar S120 an extremely efficient and flexible tool in professional lighting technology for mobile DJs and solo entertainers – a detailed list of all technical data and features can be found on the product page Eurolite LED TMH Bar S120 Moving-Head Spots.
Weatherproof moving head Futurelight IP PLH-420
The Futurelight IP PLH-420 is an all-rounder among moving heads and can even withstand pouring rain thanks to its IP65 certification. With its powerful 420-watt discharge lamp and extensive range of functions, this weatherproof spotlight combines spot, beam and wash effects in one device. Perfect for outdoor events, the PLH-420 offers a spectacular light show that leaves nothing to be desired. Whether for concerts, festivals or hire – this moving head is a real game changer in event technology and makes every stage shine!
The moving head can be controlled via stand-alone, master/slave function, DMX, RDM, CRMX by LumenRadio, ArtNet, sACN and music control via microphone. Pre-programmed scenes are already available with Light Captain. The device is cooled by temperature-controlled fans. With its 420 watt discharge lamp and zoom optics, the moving head generates beam angles from 1° to 14° in beam mode and from 4° to 25° in spot mode. In beam mode, it provides a targeted hotspot with powerful light output, while in spot mode it delivers an extremely homogeneous image for uniform projections.
The PLH-420 is equipped with nine rotating, interchangeable gobos and 14 fixed gobos. Two rotating prisms create a variety of effects: the first prism produces eight circular images, the second six linear ones. A frost filter softens the light and enables a washlight effect that can be adjusted in size. The device also offers 14 different colours on a colour wheel. The equipment includes a USHIO NSL 421 discharge lamp with a service life of 2000 hours, which is already installed and adjusted at the factory. The PLH-420 can be positioned within 540° PAN and 265° TILT and offers auto-position correction and accurate positioning thanks to 16-bit resolution. The colour wheel has 13 dichroic colours and open options, half-colours are selectable and there is a rainbow effect with variable speed in both directions.
Eurolite LED DMX Search Light incl. flight case
The motorised DMX chaser (Eurolite LED SL-1000 MFZ DMX Search Light incl. flight case) is a versatile and powerful search light that has been specially developed for long distances. With its manual control via a repositionable control panel, which includes buttons and faders, it enables precise operation. The chaser, which comes with a practical transport case, is therefore an excellent choice for professional event and stage technology applications that require impressive performance and versatile control options.
The DMX Search Light has a powerful 1000 W COB LED in cool white and offers the option of directly selecting the colour temperature for three preset values. Functions include a colour wheel with seven dichroic colours as well as a stepless iris, a frost filter, motorised zoom and focus, selection of half colours, an electronic dimmer and a strobe effect. Cooling is provided by fans, which ensures reliable performance.
It can be controlled in stand-alone mode as well as via the master/slave function and DMX. The beam angle of the device is 2° to 7°, making it suitable for an application range of 75 to 200 metres. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications such as weddings, galas, events, stage performances, theatres and rental companies. The tracker is supplied with a mounting bracket for easy installation on tripods. A single-colour LCD display ensures user-friendly operation.
