„We are shaping the future of the audio industry based upon our history, cultural innovations and passion for excellence.“ That’s the philosophy of Sennheiser Electronic GmbH & Co. KG. This principle is now becoming reality. In July 2013, the long standing company from Wedemark had its ground breaking ceremony for their new Innovation Campus.
The twenty million Euro Innovation Campus will give their employees about 7000 square meters of space room for the most modern working conditions, as well as enough space for events. The opening is planned for the end of 2014.
“In the building, we will be able to greet visitors from all over the world. With our customers, such as P!NK, we can develop custom made microphones and try them out in the theatre,” said Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. Klaus-Michael Polten, Director of Customer Relationship Management Professional Systems added, “Many creative ideas for new products and projects, which build upon our past accomplishments, should be developed here.
The audio company regularly presents its newest developments at Prolight + Sound. “In the spotlight at Prolight + Sound 2013 were the evolution microphones, which are celebrating their fifteenth birthday this year,” Polton added. Bands and sound engineers from all over the world congratulated the evolution line in a birthday video. The newest highlights include the lifestyle headphones from the MOMENTUM series, the speaker system LSP 500 PRO, as well as the DIGITAL 9000 wireless microphone system for theatre, broadcast and lenders.
Polten’s résumé to this year’s trade fair, “We are looking back at a successful Prolight + Sound 2013. Special emphasis should be placed on the lecture and workshop program at the trade fair, which delighted us and our customers.” This year Sennheiser was responsible for the demonstration of its DIGITAL 9000 system and many demonstrations of its LSP 500. Polten and the Sennheiser team are excited about the upcoming 2014 trade fair, where they will once again have their own booth.
