Faster, higher, stronger: public events continue to ramp up the wow factor. And that means demand for robust, resilient gear is growing too. Multimedia shows that include fountains and other water effects require waterproof equipment, for example. With its LightCube 851 series, HB-Laser is answering the wishes of many promoters by bringing a new, IP68 waterproof laser range to market that can be used at depths of up to three meters.
Waterproof Laser Technology
This is made possible by a housing milled from a block of aluminium and made waterproof using a special sealing method. Waterproofed wiring and sockets are not needed since the power supply runs over specialised cables that connect to the projector.
The laser is available in two power ratings: a 3.2W RGB (LC-851 RGB 3) and a 5.5W RGB (LC-851 RGB 5.5). The LightCube is also a pure diode device using only the latest diode technology.
