The demands placed on modern audio transmission systems are increasing all the time – not only in professional stage operations, but also in broadcasting, conference rooms and mobile applications. If you are looking for uncompromising quality, reliable transmission and intuitive operation, there is one name you cannot ignore: MIPRO. At Prolight + Sound 2025 in Frankfurt, the Taiwanese audio specialist once again demonstrated its innovative strength with products such as the ACT-800 digital wireless system and the MI-58 in-ear monitoring system.
First-class digital wireless technology: the ACT-800 series

MIPRO ACT-800 series at Prolight + Sound 2025.
The ACT-800 Series is MIPRO’s flagship digital UHF system and is designed for professional users who demand uncompromising sound quality, maximum reliability and modern network integration. The new digital wireless systems in this series offer outstanding audio quality that can easily compete with high-quality wired microphones. Thanks to digital signal transmission, sound fidelity is always maintained, regardless of transmission power or distance. This makes the systems suitable for both fixed installations and large, multi-channel live productions.
Our ACT-800 series guarantees stable transmission between 80 and 100 metres.
Martin Lutz, General Manager & Head of Export Sales MIPRO Germany
With the ACT-800 series, MIPRO focuses on maximum transmission security: a digital 256-bit AES key reliably encrypts the audio signal and protects it from unauthorised eavesdropping. The digital audio signal can be transmitted loss-free via the standard integrated AES/EBU interface to digital mixing consoles or other audio systems – even over long distances. For even greater flexibility, the ACT-828 and ACT-848 two and four channel receivers are also available with an optional Dante™ or AVB™ interface for seamless integration into digital audio networks.

The receivers of the ACT-800 series have a robust metal housing in EIA standard 1/2 19″ rack format, which ensures maximum stability in both mobile and fixed applications. A special feature is the bright colour VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display), which offers a wide viewing angle and crystal-clear display of all parameters, even in difficult lighting conditions. In standby mode, the display automatically dims to conserve power and prolong battery life.
All important settings can be made quickly and intuitively using a central rotary knob. Improved RF filter elements and optimised circuitry ensure increased immunity to interference. In addition to the 224 pre-programmed interference-free channels, 16 freely programmable memory slots are available – ideal for flexible frequency planning in complex setups.
Featuring digital diversity technology, integrated SmartEQ™ with 10 microphone presets, DigitnamicPlus™ compression noise reduction, and a high-precision A/D converter with 115 dBA dynamic range and less than 2.7 ms latency, the ACT-800 Series delivers consistently stable, high-quality audio, even at high sound pressure levels.
With digital diversity technology, our systems use two independent receive paths to select the most stable and clean signal at all times, minimising dropouts, improving range and ensuring consistently reliable audio transmission.

ACT™ frequency synchronisation and PC control software for monitoring up to 64 receivers complete the professional system architecture. Each receiver also provides power for optional antenna systems or boosters to extend range and stability. Optional integrated Dante™ or AVB™ interfaces allow all audio signals to be fed directly into digital networks for lossless processing.

MI-58 Series: Digital in-ear monitoring in the 5.8 GHz range
The MI-58 is a digital, wireless in-ear monitoring system that operates in the licence-free 5.8 GHz frequency band and offers particularly stable and noise-free signal transmission. The high bandwidth of 125 MHz enables an extended frequency response from 20 Hz to 23 kHz, ensuring exceptionally high fidelity and a high signal-to-noise ratio. At the same time, the system has an extremely low latency of less than 2.2 ms – a clear advantage over analogue systems in the UHF range.
.
Thanks to its very attractive price and high quality, the MI-58 offers excellent value for money. The version with integrated DANTE interface is particularly practical, allowing direct reception of digital audio signals via the network. The system consists of the compact MI-58T fixed stereo transmitter and the handy MI-58R bodypack receiver. The components are of the highest quality, capable of driving even the most sophisticated in-ear monitors – for a differentiated, detailed sound experience on any stage.
With the MI-58 series, we are the only manufacturer to have developed a fully digital in-ear system.
